THE STORY:
Wanted: Male companion ‘earning at least 4k’
A 23-year-old Chinese woman has posted an online personal ad asking for a “gentleman” to keep her company.
Netizens who stumbled across the online advert said the woman — originally from China — gave her name as Stephanie, and has been working in Singapore for the last six months.
The woman, who claims to be 165cm tall and weighs 50kg, said she is “single and lonely” because of the nature of her job.
“It is always so lonely to be alone during my work off days and during the holidays,” she wrote.
She lists her interests as singing, talking on the phone and “others waiting for you to find out”.
Her specific requirements in a companion?
He must be between the ages of 35 and 45 and earn at least S$4,000 a month and must also be willing to “spice up (her) single and lonely life.”
Despite her open invitation to prospective suitors, Stephanie cautioned against disturbing her and said she only preferred “sincere gentlemen”.
