There was simply nothing else to trade except GOLD. I kept shorting it, and everytime I sent in a sell stop order, D would gently remind that everything else was soaring.

D: DOW's up 200 points.

Me:........
D: Oil's....
Me: Honey, please shut up. 

I decided to call it a day at 11am ET, and went out for my nic fix with D.

D: Guess why the market's up today

Me: So there was a reason that market went up??

D: It's China's factory order.

Me: Enlightening.... But I don't care.

D: But you have to know...

Me: I do, from my charts. I know something happened, I just don't know what it is, and I don't care.

D:......

Me: So, I suppose that would mean USD's down?

D: Yep

Me: Then, gold should have gone up, isn't it?

D:...well....no, coz everyone's buying stocks

Me: REALLY????!!!
